Jeżeli zespół nazywa się Hair of the Dog i gra muzykę nawiązującą do klasycznego hard rocka z połowy lat 70. ubiegłego wieku, to z jakiego kraju może pochodzić? Z dużym prawdopodobieństwem – ze Szkocji. Dlaczego? Bo przecież jego nazwa to tytuł najbardziej znanej płyty grupy Nazareth – legendy szkockiego metalu. Formacja prowadzona przez braci Holtów wydała właśnie trzeci album – „This World Turns”.


Moda na rockowy vintage nie ustępuje. Wręcz przeciwnie! Można odnieść wrażenie, że współczesnych grup nawiązujących w swojej twórczości do hard rocka, psychodelii i progresu z lat 70. XX wieku jest coraz więcej. Także poza Szwecją i Niemcami. Przykładem chociażby szkockie trio Hair of the Dog, które swą nazwę zawdzięcza wydanemu w 1975 roku longplayowi Nazareth (w Polsce znanemu głównie z kompozycji tytułowej, ballady „Love Hurts” z repertuaru The Everly Brothers oraz przerobionego swego cza
